At the end of 2015, E-Town Capital joined forces with investment institutions including Summitview Capital and Hua Capital to acquire ISSI, a US Nasdaq-listed company.

ISSI specializes in automotive electronics, industrial, medical, communications and other fields, with completely independent chip design capabilities and related intellectual property rights. With a wide range of product lines such as car-class memory chips and analog mixed-signal chips, ISSI is firmly positioned as a leading global supplier of automotive DRAM, automotive SRAM, and automotive NOR Flash.

After the completion of the acquisition, ISSI established its new global headquarters in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) and organized a local team to lead the coordination of global R&D. The move will not only contribute to total industrial output value and tax revenues, but also drive the development of the new energy automotive electronics industry in the BDA.
