Founded in 2004, Dongfang Jingyuan Electron Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Dongfang Jingyuan) was founded by China Oriental Group, a Fortune 500 company. It is a high-tech company that integrates R&D, production and sales of semiconductor devices and software.

Headquartered in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA for short), Dongfang Jingyuan is one of the three key areas in Beijing. It is positioned as a high-tech industry and an advanced manufacturing base on the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Development Corridor. “Made in China” semiconductor chip

Yu Zongqiang, general manager of Dongfang Jingyuan, returned to China to start a business, hoping to contribute to China's semiconductor industry and the production of high-end semiconductor special equipment.

The company’s core team consists of more than 30 experts who have worked in key positions in IC equipment manufacturing and computing lithography companies in the US, Japan and Europe. The team members’ work experience covers areas including IC manufacturing and inspection equipment, computational lithography and lithography optimization, chip design and process optimization techniques. More than 40 percent of them have doctoral degrees, and more than 60 percent have overseas work experience.
